App Concept | Work-in-progress/essentially a sketch. Sure, it's undercooked, but I hope you can see what I'm envisioning!

When I bought my first home I found myself very lost in terms of what ongoing maintenance expenses to expect. As a first-time homebuyer it can be a very overwhelming time—you've just committed to (probably) the most expensive purchase you've ever made, you have to move in, and then there are probably a few notes from your home inspector that you know you need to address... sometime.

This app concept addresses issues proactively before they become a more expensive problem. I see this as a SaaS product that can integrate directly into mortgage accounts. Imagine you've signed your first mortgage, and right there within your account while you're still signed in after making your monthly payment, you can: get advice on probable upcoming expenses and likely timing, set aside funds in your savings to account for these costs, and view details that help you decide what to prioritize based on your house's age, location, and provided details.
